We are proud to offer Alexandria Professional Sugaring at Grace + Clay. Joanne has been sugaring since 2003 when she received her certification. Sugar is much gentler on the skin and is water soluble, therefore it removes easily with no sticky residue. We also offer Cirepil hard wax, a gentle alternative to traditional wax. Please allow for 1/4" hair regrowth.
Waxing and sugaring cannot be performed if you are using certain medications.

HELPFUL TIPS

Do not tan the day before, day of or day after waxing/sugar.

Exfoliation and moisturizing the skin will help reduce ingrown hairs. Wait 24-48 after a wax/sugar before exfoliating.

Medications for acne or Retin-A are contraindicated.

An epsom salt soak can reduce ingrown hairs.

Do not exercise just after a wax as breakout may occur.

Waxing/sugaring may be more sensitive prior to your cycle.
