Good things come to those who cleanse their face!

Crucial Care 🫧 Cleansing Stage

Did you know? Daily cleansing is vital for optimal skin health and maintenance.

Dermatologists recommend thorough cleansing twice a day for most skin types, and potentially only once a day for those with ultra-sensitive skin. What about double-cleansing. I'll be honest, I'm a skincare minimalist. I cleanse twice daily. However, if I am wearing makeup, I will do a double cleanse. Sometimes with the same cleanser or with my favorite micellar water, Osmopure.

I have a variety of cleansers in stock at Grace+Clay from gel, to milk to a creamy milky gel, lol and more. Gels are typically for oilier skin conditions, milks for dry or mature skin. Foams are a great cleanser for normal skin. Oil Cleansers are a great pre-cleanse. Micellar waters are great post-gym or as a double cleanse or when you're just too tired to get out your favorite cleanser.

DMK

  • Utility Pick - Deep Pore Facial Cleanser This formula contains yucca and aloe to exfoliate without drying, and white oak bark to clear pores of debris or congestion. A little dab of gel does the job and it rinses easily!

  • Blemish Banishment - Acne Wash Treatment Cleanser Our favorite solution for eliminating acne and preventing future breakouts. This contains benzoyl peroxide.

  • Sensitive Skin Saver - Milk Cleanser Cleansing Lotion Water soluble and fractionated with essential herbal oils, Milk Cleanser does an incredible job of gently cleansing and exfoliating without sacrificing moisture. This is a thicker milk cleanser, a cream consistency. Just a small amount is needed! Lightly scented, I love this one for my dry skin!

There are others from DMK also:

  • Acu-Kleanse as salicylic acid, it's what's in "zit creams." This oil-soluble BHA gently exfoliates and cleanses inside the pore.

  • Micro Pearl is a creamy gel with dissolvable micro-beads made of jojoba oil. Perfect for all skin types including menopausal. It smells amazing! Light and clean.

  • Milk Cleanse Ultra is lighter consistency than Milk Cleanser. The cooling and anti-inflammatory ingredients (like licorice extract) make this is great choice for dry and sensitive skin conditions.

NOTE: all DMK cleansers use a pea-size amount that you mix with water before applying. So, a little goes a long way. You can put the cleanser in your hands (I get them wet before adding cleanser) or use a bowl and brush, like we do in spa!

Institute Esthederm

Esthederm has been my OG. I've used this line since I began my career in esthetics. It is still a favorite today. They have a variety of cleansers too!

  • Osmopure Micellar Water is the lightest cleanser, it's like water and contains micelles, tiny oil molecules that remove dirt and cleanse the skin. While Micellar Water doesn't treat a skin condition, it is a great option after a workout, a quick double cleanse or, if you're too tired to to get up and wash your face. Keep this by your bedside. Use cotton pads and do not rinse!

  • Calming and Hydra Replenishing Milk Cleansers Both of these cleansers are my OG! The Calming Cleansing milk is a light-weight milk cleanser suitable for sensitive or dry skin conditions. The Hydra Replenishing Cleansing Milk is thicker and richer and dry skins love the consistency. Like me! Both go on dry skin and you massage these to remove dirt, debris and makeup. Rinse with warm water.

  • Osmoclean Pure Cleansing Gel This is a great choice for oily skin conditions or those with normal to oily skin. Great for men. It has a light, fresh scent. This is applied to a dampened skin, massaged and rinsed off.

  • Osmoclean Pure Cleansing Foam Foams are great for normal and normal to oily skins. It comes in a pump and when applied, the foam changes consistency. Apply to a dampened skin, massage and rinse. Even though I have dry skin, I will use this once a week in the summer for a deeper clean. This is also a great choice for men.

NOTE: All of these cleansers respect the skin barrier and will not strip your skin! Don't forget your neck and dec! (Décolleté or your neckline/upper chest! This is a delicate area that needs extra care!)
